PRODUCTION AND COMPOSTION

The unique properties of acrylic render are determined primarily by its composition, which includes acrylic resins, aggregates, and binders. Thanks to the resins and binders, the plaster maintains appropriate mechanical, and strength properties. Aggregates are responsible for the texture, the grain size of which, depending on the type, ranges from 1 to 2.5 mm.

During the production process, all of these ingredients are mixed together. In the meantime, special ingredients are added to protect their structure against the formation of algae and mold. Thanks to that they can be applied in different places, even those exposed to the very strong influence of moisture.

ACRYLIC RENDER - TYPES

Acrylic render belongs to a rather narrow group of thin layer products. Their division is based on the texture, which, depending on the aggregate used, usually has two forms.

  • Dash render – this is a product with a very fine texture, resembling a set of a large number of unevenly arranged depressions and highlights. They are not continuous but punctual.
  • Rustic texture render – is a texture completely different from dash render. Its characteristic elements are typical vertical and diagonal furrows, resembling the traces left by woodworms.

Choosing the right type of render texture has appropriate consequences. The advantage of das render is that it can be applied even on partially uneven surfaces due to its specific, spotted structure. While applying it, it is necessary to remember about the necessity to trowel the render mass to one side with circular movements. In practice, dash render is a difficult plaster, although less demanding as far as elevation is concerned.

The rustic texture render is much more demanding. Vertical and diagonal furrows are much more difficult to clean. Due to their presence, the ground surface should be completely level. Otherwise, the render will not look magnificent and blemishes will appear on it. The advantage of the render is easier application of the plaster, which can be trowelled vertically, horizontally, diagonally or with circular movements. Depending on the chosen method, the visual effect will be completely different.

During the production process, all of these ingredients are mixed together. In the meantime, special ingredients are added to protect their structure against the formation of algae and mold. Thanks to that they can be applied in different places, even those exposed to the very strong influence of moisture.
